Hello, my name is Dawn Raven, I have a specialty in Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising, Photography, Video Production and Brand Development.
Experience
I have over 4 years of working experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a focus in Broadcast Journalism from Cal State Long Beach. Currently, I am a Marketing & Membership Coordinator for a CA nonprofit working with organizations focusing on community economic development.
Formerly, I was a multimedia journalist Long Beach Local News doing field reports in the community, writing stories, editing packages and also conducting live reports as an anchorwoman on our weekly show.
Simultaneously, I was working as a social media marketer, still/motion graphic designer, public relations coordinator and video producer content for Youtube, TikTok and Instagram. Previously, I was a contributing editor at 22 West Media (magazine, radio and video) at CSULB and as a social media marketing intern at Imperial Digital Marketing in Long Beach, CA.
